🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Lindum Leys

Marazion sits on one of Cornwall's most accessible stretches of coast, with the iconic silhouette of St Michael's Mount rising from Mounts Bay and a long sandy beach that draws swimmers, walkers and families. The village itself is compact—a pub, restaurant and shop are all within five minutes on foot—but the location opens onto a wider landscape. Penzance, the North Coast's surfing beaches, Mousehole, Newlyn and the Lizard Peninsula are all within 30 minutes' drive. Porthleven's harbourside restaurants and galleries are similarly close, and the area has become known among birdwatchers for the marshes and estuaries that fringe the bay.

Lindum Leys is a single-storey cottage with one double bedroom, sleeping four across a sofa bed in the living space as well. Everything sits on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining area with a 40-inch television, a kitchen with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher and washer-dryer, and a shower room. A small patio faces the front, and off-street parking for two cars is provided. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. The property is semi-detached and adjoins the owner's home.

The cottage suits people wanting beach access without the crowds of larger resorts, or those using it as a base to explore West Cornwall's mix of coastal paths, fishing villages and cultural attractions. The area draws walkers year-round and has golf, cycle routes and subtropical gardens nearby. Note that smoking is not permitted inside.
