Little Penquite is a converted barn on a single floor, accessed through private gates into an enclosed plot. You arrive into an open-plan living space with a woodburner, smart TV and patio doors that open onto a patio and garden with furniture and a barbecue. The kitchen is fitted and includes a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Through a stone archway lies the bedroom, a double four-poster bed with an en-suite shower room and plenty of natural light from skylights.
The property sits in a quiet hamlet in southeast Cornwall, about a mile from the nearest village. Underfloor heating with an air source heat pump keeps things warm; the woodburner adds atmosphere in winter. Parking is available for three cars on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. The rolling farmland and countryside nearby offer visits to the River Lynher and Whitsand Bay's beaches within a short drive. No smoking is permitted. The water supply comes from a borehole.
