Little Polgrain Barns - Grain Store 1
Cornwall

Grain Store 1 suits couples after rural peace, families wanting space to spread out, or small groups sharing a self-contained converted barn. The property sits on the Roseland Peninsula in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within walking distance of Portholland cove and the South West Coastal Path, with sand and sea reachable along the lane.
Everything is on a single ground floor: two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed, one with a super kingsize that can split into singles on request), two ensuites with shower cubicles, a living and dining area with woodburner and Freeview TV, and a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and the other essentials for cooking. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. One dog stays free, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed. You get private parking for two cars, access to a three-quarter-acre shared garden with furniture and barbecues, and a hideaway den with a day bed. There's no light pollution, which means the night sky is genuinely dark.
The area draws walkers for its flowering lanes, cyclists and riders for the terrain, and sea-sport enthusiasts—kayaking, sailing and horse riding all run locally. Dog-friendly pubs are within a few miles. Portscatho's cafe hosts feast nights through summer. The peninsula is famous for its subtropical gardens; Caerhays Castle, surrounded by camellias, lies nearby. No smoking inside.

We’ve just got back from a fantastic stay at Grain Store 2 and honestly couldn't recommend it more. The cottage is spacious with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. It’s also well-equipped (including washing machine, plenty of pegs and indoor and outdoor drying lines) so you won't be lacking a single thing while you're there. The setting is just gorgeous. It has lovely gardens full of birds and views of fields making it feel worlds away from the usual daily hustle. Plus, the location is spot-on. You're just a short walk from Portholland Beach, which was perfect for a paddle for the whole family. It’s the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
