You arrive at Moorview to find a semi-detached house laid out across two floors, with ground-level access to the living spaces. The ground floor holds a sitting room with woodburner and Smart TV, a separate dining room opening onto the enclosed garden, a fully fitted kitchen, and one double bedroom with its own shower room—handy if you have grandparents or anyone who prefers not to climb stairs. Upstairs are three more bedrooms: a kingsize, a second double, and a twin room that sleeps two.
The kitchen comes equipped to cook proper meals; the bathroom upstairs has a roll-top bath for soaking. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all covered. One pet stays free, and there's a barbecue and seating area in the garden, with a store for bikes and equipment. The nearest village has a shop, chip shop and pubs within walking distance.
Moorview sits close enough to the North Cornish coast that beach visits are straightforward, and the South West Coastal Path offers serious walking. Moor View Alpacas runs trekking from nearby too, if you fancy something different. No smoking inside, and children of any age are fine here.

I cannot recommend this activity enough. We met the most wonderful staff who became more like friends and were then introduced to our beautiful Alpaca's. Mine was called Reggie and my friends was called Marshall and Bruno also accompanied us. It was a misty day on the moors but that just adds to the beauty. We did our walk at the animals pace and stopped at 3 feeding stations where they received treats from the bags we were given at the start. We did a nice circuit and saw other beauties like the sheep on our way. We stopped for a photo or two at a certain point which was fun..I met Ivy the sweetest cat who decided to climb up me and sit happily on my shoulder, bliss!!! Then after dropping our boys back in their field we went to the cat cafe for tea and beautiful warm scones for a cornish tea. We enjoyed the company of the host cats, so gorgeous all of them. Other customers came whilst we were there but it felt like we were all together in a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Bex, Emma and everyone we met were amazing. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to you all xxx

This was the most wonderful place to visit for everyone, adults and children alike. The barn with Santa was really well set up, the animals and petting area all looked well looked after and the cafe was delightful. My husband, children, niece and mother all enjoyed their mini alpaca walk- Curly Kev was very hungry all the way round and Dobby was quite the cheeky boy. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, they catered for my dietary needs superbly. We would love to come back again.

It was a wonderfull experience. The tour was great and very professional. With the introduction and the friendly guide it was very easy to hike with the alpacas. They behaved so well that we were able to take photos with them. And the cream tea afterwards was delicous. There was extra raspberry jam for me because I'm allergic to strawberries. And we were surrounded by lovely cats. Simply fantastic 😃
