Families and small groups will find Old School House suits a relaxed coastal break. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms—a king, a zip-and-link double (which can become a super-king), and a bunk room—with two bathrooms to match. A wood-burning stove warms the sitting room, and the kitchen is properly equipped for cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; you just need to bring the holiday mindset.
Gerrans village sits quietly on the Roseland Peninsula, its green nearby and the bay visible across the rooflines. The cottage has a west-facing courtyard garden at the rear. Portscatho, a short walk downhill, opens onto sandy beaches, rock pools and coastal paths—the shore is roughly 800 yards away. Both villages have pubs, cafes, galleries and a general store; The Standard pub is known for food. The setting suits those after peace rather than activity, though there is plenty to explore once you venture out. The property is non-smoking, and check-in is after 16:00, departure before 10:00.

We spent a fabulous week at No 3 from the moment we arrived at this beautiful house that has been thoughtfully renovated. It has everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay from the squashy sofas to the comfy beds. All of the rooms are spacious and well thought out and the location and views are something else. Caw sands has plenty to offer with good pubs and a warm welcome. Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful holiday home right on the sea! We visited as a family group of six and found absolutely everything we needed. The luxury of the copper bath was a real treat for me, and the kids loved the excitement of how deep it was. The hosts also provided plenty of games, which kept us entertained during a few drizzly days. Having the kayak available was a massive bonus—we loved taking it out for trips along the stunning local coastline. The location is brilliant, with a bakery practically across the street and two beaches just a minute's walk in either direction. There are so many great places to eat locally, plus the Cawsand ferry is right there to take you over to Plymouth for even more options. We had a wonderful stay!

Wow!!!! Just wow!!!! Cannot fault this beautiful house!!! Really did not want to leave, everything you could need ( although we were sad we didn’t bring our binoculars so these would be nice!!)… place was immaculately clean… spent most of the time choosing what window to sit at to see the spectacular views!!!! Cawsand is everything a Cornish village should be… unspoilt and yet everything you need, locals made us feel very welcome!! The Deli has everything you need and so delicious!!!! We walked lots right from the doorstep, every one of them stunning!! And we took the ferry to Plymouth which was a great experience , We simply cannot wait to come back!!!!

We have just spent a week at the No' 3 The Old School House and it was wonderful. Edward was so helpful and accommodating throughout. The property was stunning - location, decor, comfiness (is that a word?) It had everything we needed and more. The welcome basket was a real treat. The very best part was the view from the lounge window, you just couldn't tire of it. It rained alot, it was windy and the sun shone and the view from that window was captivating at all times. This week away was just what we needed and it certainly gave us the time, the peace and the tranquility to recharge.
