Penty-Lowarth is a single-storey detached cottage in rural Cornwall, set within mature gardens that include a wildlife pond. Couples and small groups will find it a quiet base for exploring the north coast and inland attractions. One bedroom with a king bed and a sofa bed in the living room provide the sleeping space; there is one shower room. The property sits on level ground with step-free access at the entrance.
The open-plan living space centres on a woodburner and includes a smart TV, while the kitchen is equipped for real cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave all present. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, along with logs for the fire. Outside, a patio has a sitting area, picnic table, barbecue and firepit, and there is parking for one car on site. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.
Padstow, Newquay and Watergate Bay are all within reach for coastal walks and beaches; the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan lie to the south. Springfield Fun Park is nearby. A shop, pub and restaurant are a mile and a half away. The property does not permit smoking.

Penty-Lowarth is a beautiful cottage in a remote area, and a short drive from wonderful areas of Cornwall (Newquay, Eden Project, St Columbs, etc.) Caroline and Dave were super accommodating before we even arrived at the cottage and they made sure we were okay with the storm going on this early November. A lovely welcome package of groceries and firewood to arrive to. You can tell that cottage has had some real love and joy put into it - from the ceramic paintings to the colour theme. We loved our stay here and enjoyed every moment. If you’re considering booking here, please do. The photos on Airbnb don’t do the cottage justice, it is so homely.

Lovely little cottage in a nice quiet area in the middle of Cornwall. Dave and Caroline are very welcoming owners who are always at hand. Lovely places to visit nearby, many of them dog friendly. St Just in Roseland is peaceful, Truro nearby with very impressive cathedral, and plenty of beaches. The weather wasn't the best, but still did everything we wanted to.

10/10 doesn't seem high enough. If you want a holiday cottage to feel like home with gorgeous gardens to enjoy on a summers evening or a cosy living area with log burner on a wintery night this cottage has everything you will ever need! Amazing hosts Caroline and David who are so knowledgeable about the area and give great recommendations, friendly and helpful we felt so comfortable from the start. The location is perfect to explore the North and south coasts of Cornwall and lovely to return to a peaceful cottage after a busy day enjoying the sights. Cottage was comfortable and clean and we arrived to thoughtful gifts so we could enjoy a lovely cuppa and some biscuits after being caught in a thunder storm in Bude. Already recommended to family and friends and we are already thinking of returning! Thank you Caroline and David for a perfect holiday cottage.

What a little gem! Perfect little cottage in beautiful secluded gardens. We are here in spring and there are different plants everywhere you look just bursting into life. Would love to see it in the height of summer. Absolutely stunning. David and Caroline are the perfect hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and nothing is too much trouble for them. They own a VW camper, so they've got to be cool. The location is perfect for exploring Cornwall, Newquay being only 15 minutes away. The cottage has everything you need and the wood burner is a definite bonus. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who would like a brilliant holiday.
