Pillar Box Cottage

Pillar Box Cottage is a character property built in the traditional Cornish style, with exposed beams and low doorways throughout. The cottage sits beside a slate courtyard within Trenale Court Cottages, overlooking the hamlet green. It's a detached house where you have the full run of the place, with parking for two cars on site and a lawned garden with seating.

The ground floor holds a living and dining room with a woodburner and television, plus a kitchen equipped with an electric cooker and microwave for cooking proper meals. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a single and a pull-out single, though the second bedroom is accessed through the first. There is a single bathroom with a bath and shower. Bed linen is provided, and heating and electricity are included in the price. A cot is available if needed.

Tintagel and its castle ruins are less than a mile away. The coast at Trebarwith Strand, with its sandy cove and restaurant, is 2.5 miles off. The fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac, plus the Camel Trail for walking and cycling, are all within easy reach. No smoking indoors.
