Porthgate

Porthgate is a four-bedroom stone cottage in Truro, less than a mile from the coast and moments from Portscatho village. It sleeps eight across four bedrooms: two with kingsize beds, one with two singles, and a fourth bedroom. There are two bathrooms. The property is yours entirely, with wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels all included; solar panels contribute to heating during daylight hours.

The ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner and smart TV, opening onto a patio through French doors. The dining room seats eight. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge for meal preparation. A shower room with cubicle and a separate utility area containing a washing machine, fridge and freezer complete the layout. The terraced garden is steep in places. Street parking and a public car park are nearby. The property does not permit smoking.

Portscatho itself offers pubs, cafés, shops and restaurants within easy reach. The coastal path begins roughly 100 yards away, connecting to St Anthony lighthouse and several beaches along the route. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
