Rosefern

Families and groups of up to eight will find Rosefern works well for a coastal break. Built in 2022, this detached house sits on the edge of Tintagel village within walking distance of beaches and the clifftop castle. The layout spreads across two floors: downstairs has two bedrooms with ensuite showers, a third bedroom with a double bed, a fourth with two singles, a family bathroom, and an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and doors onto a balcony. The second bedroom also has a Smart TV. Upstairs holds the main living area and kitchen, where you can cook properly—there's an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the basics. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; travel cots, highchairs and stairgates are available if you ask ahead.

Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and seating overlooks the property. The hot tub fits eight. There's private parking for four cars and an electric car charging point available by arrangement. One dog stays free, and the welcome pack includes extras for them. The underfloor heating keeps things warm year-round. Smoking is not permitted. Within reach are Trebarwith Strand, Bossiney and Castle Beach, all accessible via coastal paths; further afield lie Padstow and Port Isaac. King Arthur's Great Halls and Tintagel Castle draw visitors interested in Arthurian legend.
