Sandy Toes is a single-storey lodge on a small holiday park near Hayle, built with ground-floor convenience in mind. Everything sits on one level: an open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, three bedrooms, and a shower room plus separate toilet. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included; one car can park right outside.
The three bedrooms sleep six: one double and two twin rooms. The kitchen has a gas oven, hob, microwave and full-size fridge, so self-catering is straightforward. The holiday park itself—shared with other properties—has an outdoor swimming pool open April to mid-September, a children's play area, and a pub and shop within walking distance. One well-behaved pet stays free. No smoking indoors.
This suits families or groups after a quieter base with pool access rather than beachfront intensity. Crantock beach is nearby, and the park borders fishing lakes and woodland trails. A local bus from the park entrance runs into Newquay if you want to venture further.

A really efficient and refreshing booking experience - we booked a property via Sandy Toes for August, the booking process was smooth and with good communication. We booked earlier in the year with our main holiday abroad booked for May - When we moved our main holiday also to August it was a bit close to our visit to St Ives. We had at this point paid in full and contacted Sandy Toes to see if there was an option to cancel - they immediately re-listed the property at slightly less than what we paid (agreed with us first) and were able to re-sell and refund us the majority of the booking, all promptly. It left us more than confident to book with them in the future.

Sandy Toes is the only company I will ever book with in St Ives. The properties are always immaculate and the service from Lisa and Sabrina is excellent. They always go out of their way to help before arrival, during your stay and after you have left. They take real care of their guests. This year we stayed at Spindrift for 7 nights in September, with our friends. It is in a great location within St Ives and in a quiet spot too. The property was really comfortable for our stay and had everything we needed, the kitchen particularly was well stocked and the house also benefits from a balcony which is a real bonus for a drink outside in the sun before you go out. Would highly recommend this company and this property for your next stay in St Ives!

We have recently returned from a 4 night stay at 4 Baileys Lane and we couldn’t recommend both Sandy Toes and this property high enough. The contact with Sandy Toes was fantastic from start to finish. I am disabled (use 2 sticks) and we mentioned this on booking form concerned the accommodation might not be suitable. We immediately had a lovely email from Serena describing the property for us in more detail. Baileys Lane is so central to everything going on, very easy to find and was a perfect 20 paces to the harbour! Received lots of useful information from Sandy Toes prior to arrival, including car parking and directions. We arranged our own Town Map from St Ives Library and I would recommend doing this as it helps to show one way streets. Property was very easy to find and was perfectly laid out. Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean and smelt nice. Everything you need for self catering provided including wonderful towels and bedding. Nice touch to have washing up liquid and hand soap also. Bathroom was lovely, especially with the underfloor heating. Very good information book in the property on arrival and a nice welcome email also. Just a wonderful stay and we will definitely be booking to stay with Sandy Toes again.

We have just stayed in Fauna Cottage for a few days and we’re not disappointed at all. The cottage is beautiful and the furniture/fixtures/fittings etc are all to a lovely high standard. The cleanliness was superb, the beds were comfortable and we even had choices of soft and firm pillows. There was a play mat and bath mat for little people- certainly attention to details is a priority in this cottage. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we had a fabulous welcome pack on arrival. The communication with Sandy Toes Stays was excellent and we will definitely use this company next time we stay in St Ives. Thank you for a great stay.
