Spindrift comes with everything needed for self-catering: a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker and full-size fridge, bed linen and towels provided, wifi throughout, and parking on site. Three bedrooms sleep six—a double, a kingsize and two singles—with a bathroom containing a bath and shower. The open-plan living space has a TV, DVD and CD player, and the dining area opens onto the kitchen, making it straightforward to cook and eat together.
The apartment occupies the second floor of what was once an Edwardian hotel, now converted into holiday lets set within large gardens on the Lizard Peninsula near Coverack Headland. A path leads down to the fishing village of Coverack itself, where you'll find restaurants, a pub, sandy and shingle beaches, and outfitters offering deep sea fishing and windsurfing lessons all within half a mile. The grounds include a shared tennis court and direct access to a sandy beach. Coastal walks are immediate, and the area is protected by the National Trust.
Nearby attractions include Roskillys Farm, known for its cream and ice cream, Goonhilly satellite station three miles away, and Mullion golf course nine miles off. A village shop stocks provisions. The location suits families and groups wanting beach access, outdoor activities and a quieter base for exploring the peninsula. No smoking inside the property.
