Summercourt Cottages - Hayloft

This semi-detached barn conversion dates from the 17th century and sits on Bay View Farm, a working property near Looe on Cornwall's south coast. The stone building has been adapted for holiday lets while keeping its original character, and you'll have the whole place to yourself—two bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open-plan living space upstairs where the kitchen, dining and sitting areas flow together. Downstairs are a double bedroom and a single room with two beds, so the cottage sleeps four.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob and microwave for cooking. Heating is electric, and Wi-Fi is included along with bed linen and towels. There's parking for one car on site and space in the garden with furniture for sitting out. One dog is welcome to stay with you. The farm grounds are shared with other holiday properties and include a children's play area; if you need to wash clothes, there's a utility room with coin-operated machines.

You're yards from the South West Coastal Path, which offers walks with views across the coastline. Millendreath Beach is the closest—a five-minute walk—with a licensed café on the sand. Seaton Beach and its pub are about a mile away. Looe town centre, with its working fishing harbour, fish markets and restaurants, is nearby. Polperro and various cycle routes are all within easy reach.
