Looe Yurts

Looe Yurts is a really special place. We stayed for 6 nights in April and it was unbelievably peaceful. There is a wonderful view over the hills from your front door to wake up to and perfect for enjoying sunsets. I had the best nights sleep there I've had in years. The yurt itself is very sound and well equipped, everything inside being of very high quality. The barbecue is top class, the best I've ever used, with all sorts of interesting attachments you can use to cook almost anything, even a pizza oven.The kitchen is modern and well stocked, and the the bathroom is heated which was a welcome luxury in the cooler mornings. The family that run the business were thoughtful and professional, and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay. We went as a couple but it would be a wonderful place to bring a family or pets. I am very much looking forward to going back. Thank you :)

Just home after staying for an amazing few days at Penvith yurts. Great location and very comfortable amenities. The full English hamper was much appreciated and the food was delicious. There is a kitchen on site or you can choose to BBQ or your own veranda whilst taking in the spectacular view! Loved the wood burner in the yurt, kept us toasty! They even have a firepit if you fancy toasting your marshmallows! Our own bathroom with powerful shower was appreciated. Andrew and Teresa were great hosts and the farm animals were friendly too! I will definitely be recommending Penvith yurts :-)

What an amazing place, we have just returned from a fantastic 4 nights in Looe Yurts. From start to finish and even afterwards everything was 5 Star. We’ve never Glamped before so weren’t quite sure what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations. The yurts themselves are amazing, so clean and comfortable and with everything you need, although because of the weather we didn’t need the wood burner. There are all the bbq equipment you need provided and all immaculately clean, as was the shared fully equipped kitchen and private bathrooms, and lovely soft towels. We absolutely loved the place as did our dog. Away from the yurts the surrounding area is just lovely and lots of great walks plus lovely places to visit, Looe, Polperro, Seaton, to name just a few. The communication from Sarah both before and after couldn’t have been better, we even left something in the yurt and Sarah has arranged for it to be posted back to us, amazing customer service. We will definitely be back, and definitely a 5 Star experience

Since the previous owners sold the property, the lack of passion for Yurts being an amazing place to stay, really shows in my opinion. The Yurts are in an amazing spot surrounded by plenty of places to walk and local eateries. The remote location makes it very easy to switch off and enjoy your holiday, that being said they are no longer quite up to the standard they used to be maintained to and the warm welcome has been replaced by an email and a key lock box. When we arrived one of the futons were broken and on all 3 toilets, the outdoor side of the handle was barely hanging on and rubbish was overflowing by the end of our stay due to the bins not being emptied. If you have no point of comparison however, I am sure it would be lovely. The views are fantastic from the yurts and it's in an amazing location!
