The North Cornwall coast is within easy reach of Trewalder, a quiet hamlet that sits between Delabole and the clifftop walks and beaches around Tintagel and Polzeath. Sunnyside occupies a south-facing spot in this rural setting, with the A39 Atlantic Highway nearby for exploring further afield. Shops, a pub and restaurants are about a mile and a half away.
This cottage has two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and two bathrooms, making it suitable for a small family or group of four. The ground floor holds a living room with a wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen and dining room, plus a utility room. Slate floors and original features give the place a distinctly Cornish character. An enclosed front garden has seating and a barbecue. There is parking for one car on site, and one well-behaved pet can stay free of charge. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; heating is oil central. Please note there are steps between rooms on different levels.
The beach is two and a half miles south. Wooded countryside surrounds the property, and a day spent on the coast or walking the coastal path leaves plenty of time to settle into the garden with a book before evening.
