The Boat House

This former boat shed has been refurbished into a compact two-person retreat, with a double bedroom upstairs and a ground-floor living space that combines sitting area, dining spot and kitchen. The bedroom has a low ceiling—just over four feet—and access is by steep stairs, so the property suits adults rather than children under 12.

Downstairs you get a sofa bed, electric cooking, a shower cubicle and a freeview television. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There is parking for one car on site. The setup works well for a short break based in Padstow itself, whether you want to walk to the harbour, eat out along the quay, or use it as a base for exploring the North Cornwall coast.
