The Hideout House
Cornwall

Sennen Cove sits at the southwestern edge of Cornwall, where the coastline turns dramatically toward Land's End. The Hideout House occupies a clifftop position above one of the area's finest stretches of sand, with a private path leading down to Whitesands Bay. The cottage itself is a traditional build with picture windows in the main living space—every opening frames the view out across Sennen Cove toward the Isles of Scilly, visible on clear days 30 miles across the water.
Inside, three bedrooms sleep up to six: a double, a twin, and a bunk room suitable for children or additional adults. The single bathroom has a shower over the bath, and there's a separate toilet. The open-plan living area flows into a modern kitchen where you can actually cook—it has a full oven, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. An enclosed garden opens from the living space, which matters if you're bringing a dog; one pet is welcome. The property is yours alone; you're not sharing with other guests.
Whitesands Bay itself has lifeguards in summer, a beach restaurant, surf hire and lessons, toilets and a takeaway. The village pub is within easy walking distance. Smoking is not permitted inside.
