This former sawmill, converted into a two-bedroom cottage, sits in a tranquil village location away from main roads. Originally built in the 1800s, it retains period character—exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and a mix of oak flooring and slate—while offering modern comfort through electric central heating, a wood burner in the living room, and contemporary fittings throughout.
The ground floor has a living and dining space with a woodburner, plus a kitchen equipped for full self-catering. One bedroom is on this level with an ensuite shower room; the second bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. Both bedrooms have king-size beds. The property is yours alone, with parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and a barbecue. Wifi, electricity, bed linen, towels and initial logs for the burner are included. Children under 5 cannot be accommodated due to a pond in the garden, and the access is not suitable for long wheelbase vehicles.
The village location makes it a base for exploring Cornwall while remaining quiet and tucked away. Check-in is after 3pm, departure before 10am. No smoking inside the property.
