What visitors say
This is a real gem of a place, tucked away in the Cornish countryside. The roads are narrow but ample passing places lead to a wildlife park that is a must for all ages. The park relies totally on visitors and caters for a variety of animals for which the care and dedication of the owners and friendly staff is obvious. My 12 year old son, my 17 year old daughter, my wife and I enjoyed it immensely.

If you are in the area you must visit this wonderful sanctuary. Porfell is so special, it’s a smaller place compared to the bigger zoo attractions, it’s a beautiful set up with some wonderful animals. We visit here every time we come to Looe and will continue to support this truly wonderful place.

Took my 2 kids here for a few hours on Sunday. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. The place wasn’t too busy so it was nice and relaxing. The animals seem well cared for and quite happy in general. The site isn’t huge but there’s plenty to keep you occupied for a few hours. Kids didn’t want to leave.

My partner and I visited yesterday and absolutely loved every minute of it. The animals are so obviously well cared for and it is lovely to see these animals be given another chance, as many have been rescued or re homed. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals. Couldn’t recommend it more, we will definitely be returning.
