Penzance sits at the toe of Cornwall, where dramatic coastline meets open countryside. The Vineries—25 Mallard Cottage—is a self-contained holiday let on the edge of this landscape, roughly a mile from the sea and surrounded by the kind of rolling, windswept terrain that draws walkers and bird-watchers year after year. The village of Penzance itself has a train station and all the usual amenities; from here, some of the county's most striking beaches and cliffs lie within easy reach.
The cottage holds three bedrooms and sleeps six: a double and a bunk-bedded twin on the ground floor, plus a double upstairs alongside a single suitable for children. The ground floor is open-plan living and dining with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. One bathroom serves the property. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided; heating is included. The cottage shares grounds with other holiday properties on the site, and there is parking available.
Close by are Sennen Cove, Whitesands Bay and Porthcurno, each with their own character—one a family beach with safe swimming, another favoured by surfers. The coastal path runs nearby. The property does not permit smoking. It suits families, groups of friends, or anyone after a base for exploring West Cornwall's beaches and headlands, particularly in spring and early summer when wildflowers cover the hills.
