Portscatho's beach, harbour and village shops are all within easy reach of Trosvik, a substantial house arranged over three floors that can accommodate large groups or extended families. The property sleeps 12 across seven bedrooms: a mix of kingsize, double and single beds spread between the ground, first and second floors. Five bathrooms and shower rooms mean mornings run smoothly. One dog is welcome.
The ground floor centres on a bright living room with a wood-burning stove, French doors opening to a paved terrace, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dining table that expands to seat twelve. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a shower room, complete this level. Upstairs, bedrooms vary in size and layout to suit different needs—some have TVs, one has sea views—alongside a family bathroom. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and there is parking on site. No smoking throughout.
The village itself has pubs, cafés and a small grocery, while Falmouth's beaches, galleries and restaurants are a short drive away. Truro's cathedral and high street shops are nearby too. The location suits families wanting a base that combines a quiet village feel with access to Cornwall's coast.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in a stunning location in Cornwall I would definitely recommend here. We stayed as a big family and there was plenty of space, the beds were comfy and it had all the amenities we needed. The proximity to the sea was so great and the host was super helpful.

I spent a three day weekend here with friends. The accomodation is spacious, clean and well stocked. It has great beach access, costal walks and easy access to a range of amenities. The view from my room (at the top of the house) is beautiful. This accomodation was ideal for our group but would also work perfectly for a large family or a couple of families looking to get away together.

I stayed recently with a group of friends and had a great time. The location is perfect and literally about 20 seconds from the Beach and about 15 seconds from the local pub. The views are great from our room and overall we are definitely going to stay again!

Heading home after a week in Trosvik House. Absolutely blown away by not only the house itself, but also the amenities in it. Sky tv, netflix etc. Dishwasher, large laundry room. The outside showers at the front and back of the house, amazing showers in each bathroom. A wonderful large cooker. And so much space. The beds are comfortable, the lounge is comfortable, large dining table etc. It has been by far the best family holiday we’ve had. The dogs loved it too. The proximity to everything is fantastic too-literally 20 seconds to the harbour club, 4 minutes to the plume of feathers and the village shop. A stones throw from the beach. We travelled a bit and Portscatho is 1.5 hrs to Lands End/Minnack Theatre/St Ives, 42 mins to Newquay, 15 mins to St Mawes, that gives you an idea of days out - such a great location. If you do stay, use the just eat app for any takeaways, we enjoyed meals at both local pubs, the boathouse cafe all of which are fantastic, and 2 wonderful takeaways (indian and a chinese), that were delivered too us. We will definitely make this a yearly holiday - and Trosvik House every time for us.
