Through the door of Windmills, you step into an open-plan ground floor where the living and dining spaces flow together beneath good natural light. The kitchen sits to one side with a breakfast bar, electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher and full-sized fridge. A woodburner warms the living area on cooler evenings. There's a utility room with washing machine, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, three bedrooms each have their own ensuite with walk-in shower. The first is a kingsize with television; the second offers a zip-and-link kingsize that can be split into two singles on request; the third is a double. All three overlook the harbour and surrounding coast.
Outside, the property sits in its own gardens. A front garden leads to the entrance; the back garden has a summerhouse, sitting areas with furniture, and a barbecue. The hot tub seats eight. Parking fits three cars, and there's a bike store. Essentials like bed linen, towels, heating and WiFi are provided. One dog stays free. The cottage works for families and couples; hen and stag parties are not accommodated, and smoking is not permitted.
Mevagissey lies close by—a working fishing port with restaurants and a beach. Boddington's Berries is nearby for pick-your-own produce. Saint Austell itself offers shops and services. The property suits anyone wanting a self-contained base for exploring the coast, with room for six guests to spread out.

Arriving in the spring sunshine, the thoughtful welcome pack made our arrival feel incredibly special. The host is extremely helpful, and we truly could not fault any of the facilities offered.Perfect for Families and PetsThe open-plan living area provides a massive, social space for everyone. Lovely spot just on the outskirts of Mevagissey with a lovely view of the harbor. The house has been beautifully renovated and was a great place to spend time with the family. We came here in November and had fantastic weather but wi definitely return in the Spring / Summer.
