Penfose Apartment

Penfose Apartment occupies the upper storey of a building overlooking Mevagissey Inner Harbour. The 18 external stone steps to reach it are steep, but the reward is an elevated position with views across the water and fishing fleet. The whole place is yours—three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and space for six guests. One bedroom has a king bed with an ensuite; the other two contain a double and two singles respectively. The main bathroom adds a bath and shower cubicle.

Upstairs is one open-plan floor: a living area with a 50-inch TV, dining space, and a kitchen fitted with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. You can cook as much or as little as you like, or step down into Mevagissey village where restaurants, cafés and pubs cluster around the harbour. Parking for three cars sits on site. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The apartment suits families, couples and groups; a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if you ask.

Beyond the village lie coastal paths, beaches, and attractions including the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The harbour itself runs boat trips and fishing expeditions. This location works equally well for summer breaks and winter storm watching from the windows.
