Fir Cottage sits on 27 acres of countryside between Saltash and the A38, putting you within reach of much of what makes this corner of Cornwall worth visiting. Freathy beach is a 20-minute drive; the Eden Project, with its year-round events and music festivals, is nearby; Adrenaline Quarry offers a day of activity. St Mellion's two championship golf courses are five miles away. The location also gives you access to coastal paths, cycle routes and open moorland.
The cottage itself has two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, the other with two single beds—and two bathrooms across a ground floor and first floor. Downstairs, an open-plan living space holds the kitchen (electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave) and dining area, with a utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. An enclosed back garden has a private hot tub, sitting-out area with furniture, a children's play area and barbecue; you also have parking for four cars and access to woodland walks across the communal grounds.
The property suits families, couples and those bringing a dog (pets stay free). Children's equipment—cot, highchair and stairgate—is available. There is no smoking throughout.

We’ve just returned from an absolutely fantastic holiday at Woodside Stables. The location is wonderfully peaceful yet perfectly placed for easy access to everything we needed. The holiday home itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, light, and modern and a real pleasure to stay in. Claire was an exceptional host; nothing was ever too much trouble and she made us feel completely welcome. The hot tub was a real highlight and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. We’re already looking forward to returning. Woodside Stables truly lives up to everything advertised on the website, and we wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend it.

Superb location and great accommodation, finished to a really nice modern clean look and is fully equipped, feels very much a home from home, we have loved every moment staying here... The host Claire is really easy going, very friendly and helpful; the accommodation is animal friendly and there is an amazing woodland walk on site which is great for man's best friend. If we find ourselves back in the area we will be staying here again it's just perfect. Thanks for making our week away so relaxing.

Absolutely loved our stay in fir cottage. Everything we needed was there, hours drive to most of the places we wanted to visit. Great relaxing time in the cottage and hot tub. Dogs had a great time in the secure garden and a walk around the woods and field. Highly recommend a break at woodside
