About China Fleet Country Club
Saltash puts Plymouth within easy reach across the water, and Dartmoor is close enough for a day out, making China Fleet Country Club a useful base for exploring both the city and the moor. Fishing, watersports and a golf course are all nearby, alongside pubs, restaurants and entertainment for evenings out.
The hotel itself is built around its leisure offering, with an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa or sauna on site, plus a golf course for guests who want to play without travelling further. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks in room, and family rooms and accessible rooms are available, with a lift serving the building. A restaurant, bar and snack bar cover meals through the day, breakfast is included, kids' meals are catered for, and room service is on offer for those who'd rather not leave their room.
China Fleet also works as a venue for weddings, with a bridal suite and meeting rooms for functions, and business services for anyone combining a stay with work. Outdoor seating and a picnic area make the most of the grounds, laundry service is available, and free on-site parking with electric vehicle charging is provided for drivers.
People say this country club offers excellent facilities, including a well-maintained golf course, a spacious aqua spa with various relaxation areas, and clean, comfortable accommodations. They also highlight the friendly, attentive, and helpful staff who provide great service. Guests mention the good value for money and the wide range of activities available for families.
