Cobblepatch
Cotswold
Southrop is a quiet village in the heart of the Cotswolds, built around the River Leach and surrounded by the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cobblepatch sits at its centre, a honey-coloured stone cottage with the kind of period character that defines the region—including an inglenook fireplace in the lounge that gives the main living space genuine warmth on cooler evenings.
The cottage has three bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping six in total. Essentials like electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided, and there is wifi throughout and parking on site. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering. One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The Swan pub is within walking distance, as is Thyme at OX Barn for more ambitious dining. The village itself is quiet enough to feel like a proper escape, but close enough to the Cotswolds' attractions that you won't feel isolated. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
