Gilberts

The Cotswold countryside around this village is made for slow exploration. Walking and cycling routes thread through farmland and between settlements; Chipping Campden lies a couple of miles away with independent shops and restaurants, while Broadway—famous for its galleries and designer stores—is six miles on. National Trust gardens at Hidcote are closer still. The Ebrington Arms serves food within a short walk.

Gilberts is a converted stone cottage on a working farm, kept to a human scale with everything on the ground floor. One bedroom contains a double bed; the bathroom has a bath and separate shower room. An open-plan living space includes a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave—plus a dining area and lounge with Freeview TV and DVD player. A small patio overlooks the farmland. Bed linen and Wi-Fi are provided; heating is included in winter. The cottage is for two people only, and children under seven are not accommodated.
