Lantern Cottage comes complete with everything needed for a self-catering stay. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer, so you can cook and clean with ease. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered. The wood burner comes with initial fuel included. There's parking for one car on site, and a bike store if you're planning to explore by two wheels.
The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: a double on the first floor and two singles in the second bedroom. Two bathrooms means less competition for space. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and television, while the dining room opens to a garden with patio and terrace. A pub lies within a mile, and the surrounding Cotswold countryside offers walking routes including the Monarch's Way and Heart of England Way. Nearby towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold have shops, restaurants and attractions such as Sudeley Castle, Batsford Arboretum and the Cotswold Farm Park. The cottage is in a conservation village with its own shop. Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
