What visitors say
I think this will be my new favourite place to come when I have a day off. The team are so informative and passionate, and are great educators. The birds all seem very happy and healthy and well exercised. There is such a large variety, from common to uncommon and it’s really enjoyable to walk around the centre. The talks and shows by the staff make it even better. I came to see the Athene Noctua, which ended up being the only bird I didn’t see as it was in its hide, but that gives me another reason to come back!

Had a lovely day seeing the wide array of well kept birds in their aviaries and watching two different flying displays. The displays explained about conservation and the differences between wild and kept birds. Sometimes groups of birds were flown together which was a lovely experience.

I have driven past this place multiple times; I decided today was the day I actually visited. I was not disappointed. All of the staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and it was very obvious that they are passionate about and care for these birds. The show was fun and enjoyable and it was fantastic to see the birds in full flight. They have A LOT more birds than I expected and it was enjoyable walking to each enclosure. Birds of Prey really are fantastic!
