Had an absolutely great stay, very helpful and friendly host! Dog friendly and has some really great walks around. If you’re staying here would recommend visits to Barry island, hensol forest where there is a convenient car park. And a lunch visit to cowbridge which is a lovely town with some nice shops and cafes as well as nice gardens and historical castles around. Would recommend coming here!

To book a room at this hotel, you have to send them an email and wait for them to send you a payment form. The website says they will contact you within 24 hours. A week passed. No one contacted me. I sent them an email as a reminder. Three days passed. No one contacted me. I made a call to them. They promised to send me the form today. Three days passed. No one sent me the form. So I had to find a new hotel. The worst service I have ever encountered.

Very quiet, lovely people in charge and very well layed out for a short stay. Car parking outside our place was tight but really not an issue. Warm comfy beds and all the basics you need.

Beautiful place to stay. Surrounded by sheep and fields, a quaint farm cottage to stay in which is really accessible to the local area for exploring. Kitchen had a nespresso, toaster and kettle and everything you need. The garden was immaculate as well. The owners were welcoming and left us to enjoy the stay in their peaceful farmhouse setting.
