Great campsite. Definitely recommend for a relaxing stay. Close to Cardiff and Barry island, lots of places to go nearby. The camping pitches were well spaced out and a great size, hook up too. Mostly grass pitches but hard standing available too. The site was quiet and clean. Grass well kept. Everything you need to make your visit easy. Theres two toilet/shower blocks, both clean and smart. No complaints about the showers; lots of hooks, 2 folding seats, shelf, shower curtain and squeegee. Plenty of hot water and a good flow. The toilets were clean with loo roll available. Theres 2 sinks for washing up, rubbish bins and lots of varied recycling bins. Fresh water taps, waste disposal etc.

Great site. very clean and everything you need. Bus stop 5 minutes at the most from the site gets you into Barry and Cardiff quickly and cheaply. Cycle routes as well all marked and decent. Lots to see and do St Fagans was a great day out for all🙂👍

We used this campsite to attend a festival style gig in Cardiff. It is a twenty minute hop (traffic dependent obs) into the city, but we're out in the countryside when we wake up! Simple effective booking process, owner responded quickly to a WhatsApp question. Easy to get to, lovely location and on site services (modern, clean, functional). A whole block dedicated for accessibility users. The farmers cows are polite and entertaining.

This is a great site overall but I need to drop a star for the water pressure and the water not being hot in the main toilet block. There is another shower/toilet block but I didn't use it, maybe it's better. Everything else was just perfect, location was ideal with a pub and garden centre cafe in walking distance. Buses into Cardiff and Barry 5 minutes walk away.
