Spacious and warm eventually as the heating wasn't working when we arrived. Lots of space and very pretty property. I read a review from two years ago which said it was tired, and I'd agree with that comment. The bathrooms and kitchen could do with being updated. Shower upstairs was dripping and the temperature regulator was a bit hit/miss! Only approximately five teaspoons in the kitchen drawer! Bed was ok and the location was lovely and quiet. It would probably only need a couple of weeks out of service, a good clean and some refreshing and it would be an awesome place.

Had an absolutely fantastic week here, it's in a great location with views of the mountains from the upstairs windows. The property is a wonderfully extended stone cottage, with a Kitchen / Breakfast area in the extension. A conservatory provides a games area and has a TV, sofas and a ping pong table. It always felt warm and cosy when returning from a long hike or visiting the Beach. The property is a great base, however, there isn't anywhere to walk to from the cottage. So you will have to travel by car everywhere but the beach is only 5 minutes away and the coastal walk is very pretty. We even saw a Seal on the last day! 30 minute drive to Snowdon Watkins Path and 1hr to the Mach Loop. Emma the host replies to messages quickly, although we had minimal need for contact. Rooms were all up to standard and comfy beds. Only a couple of things to be aware of, The water pressure is low! So low that you can't run a shower and a second tap at the same time. To avoid the shower going off we ran a few baths. These take about 30 minutes to fill. There is a washing machine dishwasher and tumble dryer which is great, although the washing machine has seen better days. The Spin is so loud you can't have it on at night. Overall we would highly recommend staying here, we will be sad to leave in the morning!

Fabulous cottage , but a little tired. It's a shame that little things that need attention have not been sorted also repaired. Other wise a great location.
