Llangattock Park House is a small, owner-run bed and breakfast in the village of Llangattock, just across the Usk from Crickhowell and under a mile from the high street. Run by its owners in person, it offers a handful of guest rooms with views towards the Black Mountains and a genuinely personal welcome rather than a formal hotel service.
Breakfast is cooked to order using local ingredients, and the owners are generally happy to advise on walking routes onto the Llangattock escarpment behind the house or along the nearby canal towpath. Rooms are comfortable and simply furnished rather than luxurious, in keeping with the property's straightforward, homely character.
The short walk or drive into Crickhowell makes it a practical, lower-cost alternative to the town-centre inns, particularly for guests who do not mind a village setting over a high-street address.

We were made so welcome by Rory and Catherine to their beautiful home and the family suite was just stunning and our granddaughters were amazed at their room. The breakfast we had was gorgeous and cooked perfectly both mornings. We also spent time in and around the grounds of this beautiful house with so much history. Detailed & Refined The room exceeded every expectation. It blended historic charm with modern comfort perfectly: high ceilings, elegant décor, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and a serene view across the gardens. Everything was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and designed to make the stay feel luxurious yet homely. A truly exceptional room in a remarkable house.

We spent a wonderful 5 nights at Llanattock Park House. We were extremely well looked after by Rory and Catherine, and my husband said it was the nicest place we have ever stayed! The house and grounds are incredible and the rooms are perfect. The breakfast we fantastic, and enough to fuel us for each day of hiking. Thoroughly recommend, we will be back next year! Thank you Catherine and Rory (and Lottie and Charlie the cats!)
