We had a brilliant family day out at The Look Out Discovery Centre! I visited with my wife and our 6-year-old son, Logan, and it’s safe to say we all left with big smiles on our faces. Hands-On Learning The indoor science exhibition is super educational and packed with interactive fun. Logan had loads of fun with the marble run. The "Build It" area and the water play section were also huge hits. It’s rare to find a place where the equipment is so well-maintained and genuinely engaging for kids. Once we finished inside, the outdoor play area did not disappoint. It’s massive, set right in the forest, and caters to all ages. It’s the perfect spot for kids to run wild and for parents to grab a breath of fresh air and a coffee. We also took a trip up the Look Out tower. The climb is worth it for the views over the forest canopy—Logan felt like he was flying. Its highly Interactive: It’s not a "don't touch" museum; kids are encouraged to get stuck in. Its great Value for Money between the science zone, the tower, and the forest trails, you can easily spend the whole day here.

Great place to take kids. Great to explore the science elements but plan the day for more than just that as it is a great areal for mountain biking and walking trails and a good playground too. Bye tickets in advance if you plan to explore but if not then chance it. There are still loads to do in the area.

Science through play, you can get stuck in to everything. There's different themed rooms, from building structures, water play, animals, space room, light and heat experiments. Perfect for toddlers upto about 12 years old. There's 3 awesome playgrounds outside suited for different age groups, plenty of outdoor seating areas and a cafe. A nice day out for learning and play, children really enjoy it.
