You arrive at North Plain Barn through its own entrance to find a converted farmhouse laid out across two floors, sleeping up to 13 across five bedrooms. Ground level holds a games room with pool table, three bedrooms (one with a super kingsize bed and roll-top bath, two sharing shower facilities), and a utility space with washer-dryer. Upstairs opens into a generous living area: a 65-inch smart TV, an open fire, bi-folding doors onto a balcony, and the kitchen beyond. Two further bedrooms and bathrooms occupy this floor. The property is yours alone; there are no shared spaces or neighbouring guests.
The setting is a quiet lane with views across the Solway coast towards Scotland. Behind the barn, an enclosed garden has a patio, seating, a coal barbecue, a firepit, and a private eight-person hot tub. Children get a dedicated play area. There is parking for four cars and a bike store. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; in winter, logs for the wood burner arrive with you. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are on hand if needed.
RSPB Campfield Marsh lies nearby. The barn suits large family gatherings or groups of friends, though hen and stag parties are not accepted. No smoking throughout.

We just spent a week here in the Barn owl cottage. This was a fantastic stay with the family the cottage was so well presented. It's wheelchair accessible downstairs and had no issues moving around. Kelly the host made us feel at home with lovely welcoming gifts and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property as on too of everything else has fantastic views. A+

We recently stayed at this barn and honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The barn itself was absolutely stunning - beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and finished to such a high standard. It had the perfect mix of character, comfort and luxury. Every detail had clearly been thought about making our stay feel so special and relaxing. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. The hosts were absolutely fantastic and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Their care and attention really showed. We had an amazing time. Without a doubt one of the best places we have stayed and we would return in a heartbeat. We would highly recommend North Plain farm and barns to anyone looking for somewhere truly special.

Our stay at this holiday cottage was Great from start to finish. The property had everything we could possibly need and more, making it feel like a true home away from home. There was so much to do for everyone in our group. The hot tub was a real highlight—perfect for relaxing while taking in the stunning views also The pool table and Games room, The outdoor space was just as impressive, with a lovely fire pit area that was great for making memories in the evening, As well as the Balcony area. Also a little play park area for the kids. The farm house cateres to all ages. Whether you’re planning a family getaway or a fun weekend with friends, it is the perfect balance between relaxation and entertainment. The surroundings are lovely, peaceful, and ideal for switching off and enjoying quality time together, With some lovely walks near by. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable break. We have stayed in both the cottages and The farm house and each one has been brilliant, We’ll definitely be returning and carnt wait for our next trip!😁

What a place 😍 This is definitely our whole family's happy place. We've celebrated 18th, 21st, 40th and 70th birthdays here. The farm has everything you need to have a memorable stay. Our kids love the hot tub and out door play area. We've had outdoor fires, singing and dancing in the gorgeous living area, party games and pool competitions. The surrounding area is so peaceful, and there is some lovely walks with a nice pub and restaurant not to far away. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay as perfect as can be, nothing is too much trouble. We can't wait to return.
