Rose Rigg Cottage

Rose Rigg Cottage comes ready for use. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook proper meals or travel light. An oil Aga heats the cottage in winter. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, and there's a welcome pack on arrival. Two cars can park on site.

The layout is straightforward: everything on the ground floor, with a living and dining room featuring a Freeview Smart TV, a kingsize bedroom, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. A travel cot and highchair are available. The enclosed back garden has seating and furniture for sitting outside.

Smithfield is a quiet village in north Cumbria, roughly midway between Longtown and Brampton, and six miles from Carlisle. The location works for exploring Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District, and southern Scotland, or for walking and cycling through country lanes that start at your door. No smoking indoors.
