Cracking bank holiday weekend break on this pet friendly site. 2nd visit here with my family and will return again soon. The facility's are new compared to last year. The pitches are well spaced out and water and electric on every pitch. Spoke to the owner and he's told us the tour de France will pass 2nd July 2027 so definitely be here then

West Brighton Flat Camp Site is one of our favourite places to stay, and we’ve returned many times over the years. The site has spacious, level hard-standing pitches, all with electric and water hookups, so everything feels very convenient and well thought out. The facilities are excellent, with brand new heated toilet and shower rooms that are always a welcome bonus, especially in colder weather. They’re well equipped too, with mirrors, hair dryers, and hand dryers, which adds a nice touch of comfort. The pitches are a really good size and not overcrowded, which makes the whole site feel peaceful and relaxing. It’s a lovely quiet hideaway, ideal if you want somewhere calm to unwind. Location-wise, it’s perfect for stopovers, being within 10 minutes of the M6, making it really handy for travelling up and down the country. It’s also not far from Hadrian’s Wall, which is great if you want to explore the area, and there’s a small town nearby with well-stocked shops for anything you need. One of the best things about this site is how peaceful it is at night. On a clear evening, the starry skies are amazing. It’s also brilliant for pet owners as there is a nice quite track to walk up. Overall, its a fantastic, quiet, well-maintained site with excellent facilities and a great location. We absolutely love staying here and will definitely keep returning

We had a lovely overnight stay here on our way home from Scotland. The pitches are clean, well defined and spacious. The facilities will make you think you are in a 4* hotel. Absolutely first- class and not at all expensive.

Lovely level site just about 20 mins from Carlisle. Very quiet apart from normal farming and countryside noises. About 7 EHU pitches and even more standard pitches, all with their own water tap. Facilities very clean Just a single shower (which was brilliant) Single toilet and washing up sink. All male/female use. Luckily it wasn't very busy. If you like "peaceful" this is it.
