Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club

Stayed here in July 2026 for a local dance event; hotel is nice and well kept. Pool area very crowded with kids until 1730 and still some kids in after then, but not too bad. Rooms nice - NO AIRCON - and reasonably modern. Comfy bed and pillows. Food ... not too great. I'd stay again certainly as the hotel is overall good value for what I paid, but I'd eat in the bar and not the restaurant as the 'buffet' at £30 was simply not good value. Everything tasted bland and I didn't think it was worth even half what was asked. The bar menu is much more 'gastropub' and a nicer atmosphere too, but of course less accomodating for larger groups. We actually drove to Wetherspoons for breakfast the next morning :) Plenty of car parking and a short drive into Daventry for our venue.

The rooms are a little shabby. But they are clean and tidy ( good value for the money). The staff was really helpful and friendly 10/10. Food well what can I say ( really nice ). As for the golf course what a delight. Not somewhere you just your driver out and smack it. A real thinking person's course. As it has been 36 degrees for over a week it was in really good condition ( well done to the green keepers )

Perfect Value for money! Location was ideal for a wedding we had attended nearby. Sadly on arrival out of 500 plus rooms , the reception staff did not have a single room available for us to get changed in.... therefore we had to change for a wedding in a disabled toilet. So customer service could have been better, this let them down massively. I dont believe for one minute, there wasnt a room we could have used to get dressed in. The rooms themselves are dated but clean and comfortable, which is exactly whats needed. Good value for money. We didnt have the breakfast but others said they had wished they hadnt bothered. The hotel itself has a lovely bar area and large entrance hall. Overall it was clean and quiet , which is what you want from a hotel stay.

Stayed at Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club, set in spacious and scenic grounds – a strong first impression. The hotel is large with plenty of rooms, giving it a busy but well-equipped feel. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The receptionist was professional, although not particularly warm, and this was similar to the bar staff during the day. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. However, there was no bottled water available in the room, which would have been a useful addition. The evening team at dinner really stood out – friendly, welcoming, and created a much better atmosphere. They also kindly prepared takeaway grab bags for us as we had an early start, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall,check in was smooth and professional , with strong positives in the rooms and evening service helping to elevate the stay.
