About The Orchard at Stowe
Tucked into the peaceful hamlet of Church Stowe, this adults-only shepherd's hut offers a proper digital detox in a private paddock surrounded by rare-breed Leicester Longwool sheep. You'll reach it via a path through a small spinney from your own off-road parking spot – the whole setup is totally off-grid, perfect for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts seeking quiet countryside. Inside, the cosy hut features a kingsize bed, breakfast table and fully-fitted kitchen with fridge, gas hotplate and sink, plus an ensuite with full-size shower and flushing toilet (bring your own towels).
Outside, hardstanding areas with tables and sunloungers give you front-row views of the sheep and rolling fields, while a separate barbecue zone is ideal for sunset dinners or morning coffee. With no wifi, entertainment comes from the chiminea, provided games and maps, or exploring nearby – Towcester's 10 minutes' drive, Silverstone Circuit 15 minutes, and the Old Dairy Farm Craft Centre just a 25-minute walk for niche shops and a tearoom when you fancy a treat.

An excellent, private hut which is ideal for couples. The host was extremely helpful with anything that we needed and gave us a full tour of the hut explaining it's intricacies. She was also happy to recommend anything in the local area for us. Would absolutely love to stay here again some time!

Excellent place to stay very clean everything you need in the shepherds hut is there also games binoculars for the fantastic views lovely walks . Nice and quiet very relaxing . Nice bbq outside with table and chairs and loungers .solar lighting . The owners very nice people and took time out to explain everything you need to know .
