Had the most amazing sleep!! The bed was so comfortable. We stayed when we had the heatwave so we had the balcony doors open so we lulled to sleep with the gentle sound of sheep and a little breeze, it was wonderful. Lovely breakfast too.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wonderful, entertaining hosts, in a unique building and interior decor and stories equally unique. Breakfasts were excellent as were some home-cooked touches such as the bread and fruit compotes. Full of atmosphere. For those with mobility challenges, plesse note access to rooms is via a staircase, substantial as it is!

Stumbled across this magical place, after not being able to find our regular hotel chain, close enough. And thankfully, it turned out to be somewhat of a miracle. The hosts David and Lizzie were outstanding from the get go, making sure that our stay from arrival, right to departure, was without a hitch. They have literally thohght of every little detail within the home and the rooms, to make the stay, feel like a home from home. The location is just like in a fairytale, with views that are out of this world, along with the history within the house and grounds. Not to forget the 2 beautiful pups, Blue and Ella. Definitely will be staying again and again, thank you both for such an amazing experience.

Well well well what can I add about this magical room, I stay in many hotels , castles and b&b but this ranks in my top, David and Lizzie amazing host amazing clock, amazing bacon from the field next door, amazing decanter in the bathroom, if you want a magical fairytale experience book at the Clock Tower make sure you get the room with the balcony The books.and art , views and clock will take your breath away
