About The Rear of the Plough Everdon
Guests at The Rear of the Plough Everdon get a straightforward, comfortable room with an en-suite bathroom, drinks provided, and views over the garden rather than the car park. Accessible rooms are available, and the whole set-up has the feel of a proper village inn rather than a chain hotel, with 24 hour reception and room service on hand if needed.
Breakfast is included, with packed lunches and kids' meals available for those heading out for the day, and there's a garden, picnic area and outdoor seating for warmer evenings. Practical extras such as laundry service, business facilities and free on-site parking make it as suited to a working stay as a weekend away, and pets are welcome too.
Set in rural Northamptonshire near Daventry, the inn is well placed for walking and cycling routes, with a golf course, pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby for evenings out. It's a dependable base for exploring the surrounding countryside without needing to travel far for a meal or a drink.

What guests say
We had a family wedding not from this location and I can honestly say it was the best decision I made to stay there, it is a stunning location and the lady that owns it is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and all I can do is to thank her for such a lovely stay. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and Julie came in and set it all up and it just felt more personal than staying in a hotel, I had my mother and brother who is disabled in one room and they both loved it and if we ever have anything going on in the area again we would definitely stay there. To Julie,Thank you again. Jay Pinnock.

What a great place in a most beautiful village and Charlie couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, so a big thank you to her. The room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Our dog was made welcome too and there were plenty of good walks and a great pub nearby. A great choice of food for breakfast and all brought to your door! We would definitely like to return.

The location was fab! Breakfast was amazing, with homegrown fruit and warm pastries! Charlie (Host) made us feel really welcome and safe. We took our dog, and we were shown walking locations and recommended dog friendly places to have dinner! Honestly, I couldn't rate this any higher! There is parking but only a very small issue was the parking was tight and getting out was a little difficult. We have a small car, so it wasn't too bad, but having a bigger car would have been a bigger struggle😊

What a gem of a B&B! Charlie was the perfect host. The breakfast was amazing. Being Vegans we were catered for amazingly. The room was really clean decorated charmingly, tea & coffee facilities. Beautiful village & Charlie had so much knowledge of places to eat, things to see. Will definitely come back again!
