The Stables

Silverstone and Towcester Racecourse are both within 10 miles of The Stables, making it a natural base for motorsport fans. The surrounding area holds several country houses open to the public—Sulgrave Manor, Canons Ashby, Castle Ashby and Althorp among them—while Bicester Village outlet centre, Gaydon Motor Museum, Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds are all within 30 minutes' drive. Oxford is 35 miles away. For quieter days, the village of Weedon sits on the edge of countryside suitable for walking, and a pub, shop and restaurant are half a mile away.

The Stables is a single-storey converted building with two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping four. The main bedroom has a super king bed; the second has two single beds. The living room contains a wood-burning stove, Freeview TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. A basket of wood for the stove arrives with you. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. The garden has a BBQ and furniture. Private parking for two cars is on site. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. No smoking throughout.
