Swan Cottage

Swan Cottage works well for families with children, couples, or small groups wanting a quiet base in rural Denbighshire. The cottage has three bedrooms sleeping four in total: a double downstairs, two singles upstairs, and a third single room. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in your stay.

The ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner and Smart TV, plus a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals—oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine all there. Upstairs are the bedrooms. The back garden has seating and direct access to a river, though it is unfenced and there are 15 steps leading down into it, which matters if you're traveling with young children. You can park two cars on site. Smoking is not permitted indoors. One dog is welcome at no extra cost.

The village of Carrog sits in countryside suited to walking and exploring. Corwen nearby has pubs, shops and a museum. Snowdonia National Park is within reach for those wanting more serious outdoor pursuits. The immediate setting is quiet rather than touristy.
