About The Forge
At the foot of an Iron Age hill fort, The Forge offers glamping with sweeping Denbighshire sunset views and a genuinely hands-on farm experience. Each carpeted bell tent comes with real beds, quality linens and a woodburning stove, plus a private deck and kitchen area with running water and gas hob – think wine glasses and candles for atmospheric alfresco dining. Hot showers and eco-composting toilets keep things comfortable.
The real charm lies in the immersive touches: collect freshly laid eggs for breakfast, feed the resident hens, pick seasonal produce, or learn chutney-making skills. Ingredients from the nearby organic farm shop are only five minutes away. The Wild Bushcraft Company runs courses on-site for those keen to sharpen their outdoor skills, while the Dee Valley and Snowdonia both beckon within half an hour's drive for bigger adventures.

What visitors say
Great stay at the Forge! Our cabin was lovely and spacious, remote, and had amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We also loved having a BBQ, Firepit, and access to the pond and sauna, will definitely be back.

We visited the Forge for the Back to Nature Summer Camp. It was a fantastic retreat from start to finish. The activities were engaging and inclusive of all ages and there was plenty of choice. The accommodation was fantastic, comfy bell tents with kitchen and the hammock was a hit with all the family. Sheena and Jaime were fantastic hosts and the whole team were incredibly knowledgeable about their workshops. Amazing food provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner and allergies were catered for. The wild swim pond and wood fired sauna for adults only was a lovely treat in the evening. I cannot recommend this retreat enough for a fantastic family trip.

We stayed with Jamie and his crew for a stag weekend and it could not have been better - one of the best I've ever been on in fact. They were the perfect guides for a stag. Down to earth guys, loads of laughs, but at the same time super knowledgeable about their crafts. We had so much fun and learnt loads in the process. The location is also stunning with beautiful views all around. Highly recommended for a stag! You won't regret it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars – An Incredible Cold Water Weekend! I had the most amazing weekend at The Forge in Corwen. From start to finish, everything was absolutely spot on. The whole team was so warm, welcoming and friendly – it created such a relaxed and supportive atmosphere straight away. The venue itself is spectacular, beautifully set up and even better knowing it’s all energy efficient. The food was lovely – nourishing, delicious and just what we needed after the water sessions. The cold water activities were fantastic and really well run. I felt completely supported the whole time, and the experience left me feeling incredible – energised, refreshed and so good in myself. Five stars from me – I would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone considering it!
