About The Stuart Hotel Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western
One hundred rooms spread across three floors make The Stuart Hotel Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western a sizeable base close to Derby's Cathedral Quarter and Pride Park. Set on London Road, it works well for both a weekend away and a work trip into the city centre, with chargeable on-site parking taking the guesswork out of arriving by car.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family and accessible options are available alongside a bridal suite for those staying around a wedding at the venue. Staff are consistently helpful, and the food served in the restaurant is a genuine strength, backed up by room service, packed lunches, kids' meals and a bar for something more relaxed. That said, some rooms have been reported as tired in places, and a handful of guests have mentioned hot water running short, so it's worth flagging any issues at check-in.
Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers a golf course, pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, plus meeting rooms and business services for anyone combining leisure with work. Laundry service and luggage storage round out the practical side of a stay here, making it a straightforward option for exploring Derby without extra hassle.

What guests say
I stayed here for 4 weeks whilst working away in Derby and I have to say it was a pleasant stay from start to finish. The hotel seems to be pretty quiet and easy to get a good nights sleep there. The staff, especially Marija and Lauren.. are lovely, will make you feel welcome and are always happy to give you their time. The only issue I had with a toilet in one room was sorted instantly by putting me into a better room. If I’m ever back in Derby I’ll definitely stay again.

Enjoyed another lovely stay at this hotel. I received a nice warm and friendly welcome from Saskia on arrival with a smooth check in. The room was nice and clean and spacious with all facilities working as they should. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with again excellent service from Michael and Lovepret. In the evening in the bar Lauren and Saskia were just so friendly and a real pleasure to have a chat to making me feel really valued as a guest. On departure Robyn thanked me for my custom and hoped I,d enjoyed my stay which I did. The staff make this the perfect place to stay as well as being in an Ideal location.

I stayed here for 1 night with my mum and 3 young children. I really loved the location of the hotel. The room was very large with lots of plug sockets. One hotel staff in particular (Lauren) was absolutely amazing, she welcomed us so well and made travelling with children so much easier for us. There was an issue with bedding but she quickly sorted it out for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little hotel. Yes, rooms could do with an upgrade but the bed was comfy, the room was clean and quiet, everything worked and the service and staff were top notch. I only had pastries for breakfast but I could see there was a full English available which some guys at the next table were heartily tucking into. Great value for money. Would recommend as a base for business or visiting friends.
