Fern Cottage

Hope Valley's quiet villages attract walkers and cyclists year-round, drawn by the surrounding moorland and the Peak District's best-known routes. Fern Cottage sits in Bradwell, a hillside settlement with narrow streets, a pub within easy reach, and a small shop for basics. The cottage itself is a three-storey end terrace, recently renovated, with accommodation for up to six people across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the top floor, a double bedroom has its own ensuite shower room. The first floor holds another double and a twin room, sharing a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, the living room centres on a working woodburner—initial logs provided—and opens to a small enclosed garden with seating.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and other essentials. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered. One dog or cat can stay free. There is on-road parking about 20 yards from the door. The cottage does not permit smoking. From here, Mam Tor and Bradwell Edge are accessible on foot or by car, and the villages of Castleton and Tideswell lie around ten minutes' drive away.
