Millstone Cottage

Millstone Cottage is a terraced stone building on a steep hillside in Bradwell, a village in the heart of the Peak District. The property sits within the National Park, surrounded by moorland and valleys that slope away across the landscape. Two bedrooms and a bathroom occupy the first floor—one double and one single bed, plus a pull-out single for a child—while downstairs is given over to an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting room where a woodburner provides warmth.

The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals, with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave. The shower room has a walk-in shower. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with a travel cot and highchair if needed. One dog can stay free of charge. Outside, a small enclosed courtyard with patio and garden furniture offers a private outdoor space. A pub sits just 100 yards away; a shop is 200 yards. The cottage suits families and walkers; the surrounding terrain is excellent for hiking, and rock climbing, caving, hang-gliding and fishing are all available in the area. Note that the stairs are steep and narrow.
