Longford Lodge
Derbyshire Dales
Longford Lodge is a one-storey cottage in the Derbyshire Dales with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a private hot tub tucked into the grounds. The building combines traditional character—exposed beams, brick fireplace—with practical modern amenities. It sleeps four across a double and a twin room, making it work for couples, friends or a small family wanting their own space for a few days.
The sitting room centres on the log burner; logs are provided to get you started. An adjoining kitchen and dining area handles self-catering, while a conservatory offers a quieter spot for morning coffee or somewhere to leave muddy boots and bikes. Outside, landscaped gardens give you room to move about, and a path leads down to a duck pond roughly ten minutes on foot. The hot tub is positioned for privacy. Parking covers two cars. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.
This is a no-smoking property. It sits close enough to countryside walks to be genuinely useful for that kind of break, but far enough removed that you'll feel properly disconnected.
