Parsley Cottage suits couples, small families with older children, or friends looking for a rural base. The cottage is a traditional stone building in the village of Tideswell, with the Peak District countryside accessible straight from the door. One well-behaved dog can stay free, and parking is on the road outside.
Downstairs, a living room with a wood-burning stove (logs provided to get you started) opens into a galley kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric cooker, dishwasher, and everything else needed to prepare meals. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with bunks, plus a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. The cottage is yours alone, with wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels all included. A note: children under five cannot stay, and maximum occupancy is two adults and two children.
Tideswell itself has three pubs within the village, including The Horse & Jockey roughly a mile away, plus cafés, a fish and chip shop, and a local Co-op. This is a proper walking location—the Monsal Trail runs nearby for easier routes, while Kinder Scout and the White Peak offer more challenging terrain. Castleton, Eyam, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are all within a short drive, as are the market towns of Bakewell and Buxton.
