Verona House works well for families or groups wanting a full property to themselves. The Victorian conversion sits in Tideswell village, within a mile of The Cherry Tree pub and close enough to Buxton and Bakewell for day trips, yet far enough out to feel properly rural when you return. Sleeping eight across four bedrooms—a super kingsize with ensuite on the ground floor, a kingsize ensuite upstairs, a zip-and-link double that splits into two singles on request, and a twin—it has the space to spread out. Three bathrooms between them.

The ground floor centres on a large open kitchen and living room with a woodburner, smart TV and comfortable seating. A separate dining room, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and downstairs toilet complete that level. Cooking facilities include an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and wine cooler. Outside is a back garden with furniture and gas BBQ. The essentials—electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are included. The house doesn't allow smoking. On-road parking is available.
