About Golden Coast Holiday Village - Woolacombe
Golden Coast Holiday Village sits on the Devon coast at Woolacombe, where the village itself spills down towards the beach and seafront. The site has indoor and outdoor pools, a range of activities, and welcomes dogs. Showers are available on site. A cafe is just across the road, and The Old Mill Pub is a short walk away.
The lodging spreads across the village, with Cleavewood Park forming part of the site. Guests report that the variety of facilities and the friendliness of staff are genuine draws, as is the food offering. However, some accommodation has been found to be poorly maintained, so it is worth checking the state of your particular unit before settling in. The location suits families and dog owners in particular, given the pools, activities and pet policy.

What visitors say
The pitches are brilliant. Very spacious and clean. We have a large twin axle with full awning, which fit easily with room to park the car on the pitch also. Shower facilities are clean and well maintained and there are plenty bins around the site. The facilities are great..lots to do. Only downside is the booking system. If you dont book enbloc when its busy you just cant do any thing. Prices are a bit steep for some activities but overall a brilliant family site with lots to do for adults and children. The staff are fantastic, approachable and very freindly. I had an issue on my van and the site handyman came and helped me fix it without hesitation and was super helpful and resourceful. Spent 10 days here and throughly enjoyed it.

Stayed for 4 nights from 1st June (Pine Cones 24) Room was very clean and well stocked, but there were a lot of ants coming through the floorboards just inside of the door which migrated to the table in the lounge area. Enough to be irritating, but not so bad as to complain. Double Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Staff were all excellent with no exceptions, very friendly and extremely helpful (Reception, Bar-Staff, Entertainment Team and Lifeguards all included). Clubhouse was clean and tidy, Bar well stocked and a great Arcade and activities for Kids. 1x one-hour swim session a day per person seemed tight (we had to opt for the 9-10am adult swim each morning). I can understand that the pools must get crowded when the Camp is busy, but was disappointing none-the-less if you wanted an afternoon dip as well. Ordered Linen upon arrival and had to chase it a couple of hours later as they forgot to drop it off at the accommodation. Great Camp Shop and facilities. Weather wasn't great during our stay so couldn't get to experience them all sadly. Overall, I think this is a great camp for those on a budget or with families. There is a lot to like and enjoy, but you might experience the odd niggle (but nothing major). Would I go again? Yes, probably...Would I recommend it to friends? More those with young children than I would couples or adults-only.

We stayed in our caravan and would recomend paying for a fully serviced pitch because the gravel ones are basically a car park! I would not recomend a camping pitch either as these are sqeezed in between statics and i doubt they meet the criteria for distance between properties. Site has plenty of things to do and close enough to a range of attractions and few minutes drive from Woolacombe beach. Toilets are clean and staff are friendly.

First time away with my dogs, the accommodation was amazing, plenty to do here for adults and kids. We were also blessed with good weather.. Lovely food at the pub on site that also accept dogs, (maybe if anything abit pricey). The shop on site was brilliant too.. All thumbs up for me, looking forward to my next mini break..
